I’ve been patiently waiting for the owl blouse to come back into stock at modcloth, so I was very excited when I received my notification that I could (quickly) order one. I completed my new outfit with the posh pants and cicada earrings. After the beautiful green blouse I ordered was too tight across the bust I decided to order up a size in both the blouse and pants (both polyester). I figure altering down would be easier if I need to. Better to be slightly too big than slightly too small I say.

I have gone on a peter pan collar spree lately and realise I need some different collared cardigans to wear with them. Now the two or so week wait…

I love that it was so easy to hang, it came in yesterday’s post and I’ve put it up today. This is considering I acquired a ‘ready to hang’ copy of a Banksy piece 5 months that I still need to go to the hardware store and purchase some things so it can go above the bed. The length of the rope is easily adjustable so I got it up level with the height of the doorframes without much fuss. The brown wood compliments my taupe tinted walls so I am happy all around.

My first modcloth purchase since they now have a cheaper international shipping option. I have two upcoming events I could wear this to, but I fear it won’t arrive in time for either…

after about 18 months of searching for high thread count brightly coloured sheets I have officially given up. I changed my decorating plan when I found some charcol 1000 thread count sheets online for under $100. so they’re in the post :)
I have my eye on some screen printed pillow cases (will post later) and purchased some yellow chevron cushions. still waiting for ohmabel.com.au to have the zig zag quilts back in stock.
I vow to finish decorating our bedroom before winter.

this will go perfectly on the grey chaise lounge i am searching for…!
while i’m happy to pay $59 for a cushion, $12 seems a little steep for postage, or am i just so used to online stores giving free shipping these days??
